It's important to clarify that this is not classified as official sleep training! Newborns naturally need considerable support to help them fall asleep and remain asleep, which is entirely normal. This service is designed to provide you with insights into newborn sleep patterns and equip you with strategies for achieving your long-term sleep goals.

There are various interpretations of “cry it out,” often described as putting a baby to sleep and leaving them in their sleep space until morning. However, this approach is not recommended. Supporting a child through this transition is important, as is considering the parents' comfort level.
Sleep goals and strategies differ for each family, and the consultant is committed to helping little ones learn healthy sleep habits through tailored methods. It's essential to remember that when implementing any change, a baby may cry as they adjust and learn. Parents can feel reassured that they will receive guidance and support throughout the process, and together, they can choose a method that feels right for their family as they work towards achieving better sleep.

We work with babies and toddlers of all ages. Official sleep training doesn’t start until around 4 months of age. We will provide a full assessment to ensure your baby is developmentally ready to make sleep changes.

Newborns cannot be officially sleep trained, but there is plenty you can do to enhance feeding and sleep to promote long-term success.
